Typhoon/Hurricane Nabi came through Kyushu today. It went into work this morning but work was called off because all of our students would be staying home due to the typhoon. Things got windy and rainy, but I've been under awed by the power of a hurricane. Not to say that I wish to be awed, *moment of silence for New Orleans* but Nabi seems to be all bark and no bite, at least from what I can see out my window. Other parts of Japan may have other things to say, but I don't see any damage and the center of the storm skirted Nagasaki to the east.
