Been away from the blog for a while. I haven't been updating mainly because I don't have a computer and there isn't internet at the apartment yet. Below I have uploaded some pics, but they aren't too organized. Posting pics into the "Photos" section is a little tedious so I opted for my batch method instead. Heh. Wish I had more time and a computer so that I could maaaybe get into the habit of posting, but work has me getting home usually around 10 PM and sometimes later. It isn't that work is too difficult, it is just that the hours are long. On the plus side I am traveling around Nagasaki Prefecture a lot, so I am getting to see a lot of Japan and places that I otherwise would have never even thought of to travel to. It's been a lot of fun.
Also, my friend Andy Kirsch was in Nagasaki this last weekend, so I was able to see him and show him the apartment. Would have liked to hung out with him more, but unfortunately I wasn't able to. Andy is working at a private English school in Korea, Pusan if I remember correctly. Took a few pics with Kirsch, but I don't have the tools to put them up on my site yet. The pics will show up eventually though. =) Now I just need to go to Korea to visit Andy sometime. Never been to Korea, but the country looks very interesting with lots of tradition and good food.

Found this from Tone's site. Tone's was pretty good and I was very surprised, but mine... Hrm. I'll have to agree that it is "largely a shot in the dark."

I read in the news last week that Donald Trump proposed that the World Trade Towers be rebuilt with improved technology and safety. For some reason I feel compelled to give my opinion. I think that Mr. Trump is right. I cannot think of a better message to future generations then that what was lost will be recovered, rebuild, remembered and honored as we once knew them. Having the NY skyline dominated by a monument to terrorism on US soil, aka "The Freedom Tower," is the wrong message in my opinion.
